Ludbrook Farm Walk

We had a fantastic day out today - walking 5 kms across paddocks, passing heifers, bulls and beautiful ponds with flowering waterlillies in them. We walked through Mr Lawrence's farm to meet up with the Ludbrook farm track and then followed the new farm race to the waterfall. There we had a picnic lunch and played amongst the beautiful puriri and taraire trees with kukupa watching over us.
This was a great day out for the Year 5s and 6s - it was also a bit sad as it was the last day out we would all have together as Team Moana. We have done a lot together as one team of 58 students this year - sharing our Raranga Matahiko learning at Waitangi, our week away together to National Park, various sporting activities and today. I think the friendships made in Team Moana will last forever and look forward to everyone looking out for each other and sharing fun times together in the future.
