Movie Presentations

What a great start to Term 4!  Last week we had a very successful Greats and Grands Day. IT was fantastic to see so many grandparents travel to Ohaeawai to see their moko.
From their reactions to the items put on by the students, they seemed to enjoy every moment of the day. They certainly asked a lot of questions and had a really good look around t he school and in classrooms. There was a lot of fun with the old fashioned games too - many were very competitive!!

This week we began with our annual Kaikohekohe Cluster Movie Show. We had a lot of movies to present and this year Team Awa were clear winners, taking out the top 3 places.
We will have to work extra hard next year to make sure we get a placing!
Our movies - all based around our Term 2 theme of the Battle of Ohaeawai were all well presented. I am sure everyone saw where they could have improved - maybe learnt their lines better, added more details or been a bit more creative, but everyone definitely learnt a lot on their movie making journey.
Here are a couple of examples for you to view.
