Term 2, 2015

What a busy start to the Term.  Our focus this term is Filling our Kete with Culture.  We have looked at different cultures and what culture is.  We have now chosen a culture to study, looking at how the group was formed, why it was formed, when, where and who is involved.  It is becoming very interesting as we find new and interesting facts.  We are working with Chris, a Facilitator who is helping us with ideas to present our findings in different ways.
We are also very busy outside the classroom.  This week 3 teams, 45 students, travelled to Kerikeri to take part in the Far North Rippa Rugby competition. What a great day we had, with some wonderful successes.   Below are some pics from the day.

What a great message to parents and players!
Matua Ken gave good advice for the games.
