End of Year

What a busy term, and now it is all over!!!  Last night we said farewell to our wonderful Year 6s. They have achieved so much in their learning this year - I was so proud of them all at their Graduation Dinner on Monday night and at the Prize giving last night. As I said to them, there were so many contendants for the awards, it was very difficult to choose. With 3 years of digital learning, their confidence in every area has grown as they have had to challenge themselves, problem solve and present their work using a huge range of tools and apps. All the while teaching the teacher as they went!!!  Thanks for being a great class - challenging at times as you grew up before our eyes, but always coming back to the Ohaeawai school values, understanding what was right and wrong and helping each other.
And what a great great year - so busy.
Highlight for Mrs H?  Ski trip!!  All that fundraising was worth every minute of our time in National Park. Great parents, place to stay, activities, we were so fortunate to have had that experience.
